Called it? Now tell the world! When a vote of yours turns out right, a Brag! button appears on that question. Tap it to get an image ready to post, with your answer, how far ahead of the result you called it and how many voters agreed with you at the time. Then brag about it on your favorite social network. A late vote cannot brag.
Whoever opens the link lands on the resolved question with your brag on top. They see your @handle and that one vote, never your points or your other votes. If you delete your account, your brags disappear.
Your points are the success rate we can vouch for with 95% confidence, given your number of votes: the lower bound of the Wilson score interval.
With n resolved votes, k of them right, p = k / n and z = 1.96:
A right vote counts for 0.8 to 1 in k: the earlier you vote, the closer to 1. A wrong vote counts as a miss, whenever you cast it.
points = 100 × (p + z²/2n − z √(p(1 − p)/n + z²/4n²)) / (1 + z²/n), rounded
3 right out of 4, all cast early, give 30 points (25 halfway through the question, 20 at the last minute). A perfect 4 out of 4 gives 51 points, but 30 out of 40 give 60: a good rate over many votes beats a perfect run over a few.
The badge shows where your points rank among everyone with at least one resolved vote, from Top 1% to Top 50%. The ranking is updated after each result. Only the top half gets a badge.
A vote cast after the result became public is marked Late and does not count in your points.
Questions are written with the help of AI, and results are looked up automatically in public sources. Either can be wrong: use “Report a problem” on a question. When a result is corrected, points follow it.
